Pirate Seafood Located at the Chevron Station

It's right around the corner from our house so we had to try it!! And it was good. Really good. The seating area is behind the blue truck. The white truck is a customer waiting for food. He sells raw and cooked food. We were going to take it home but decided to stay for the ambiance. We had to get our own drinks in the Chevron Food Mart. If we knew that, we could have brought from home!

Mom had the fish and chips (although not many chips because I forgot to ask him to make them without salt). I had the coconut shrimp with an orange marmalade sauce. And we had our first conch fritters, which are a lot like hush puppies.

He talked us in to coming back for the conch sandwich. He says it's really good and I believe him. Truly, I trust him because his steamed shrimp are made with Old Bay, he gave us a taste. (I brought my Old Bay down here with me to use for home cooking. I put it in almost everything - but not Mom's food as she can't have salt.)

  1. Looks yummy. Dude, for having been in FLA for 2 weeks you are still looking pretty pasty. You must be rocking some serious sunscreen. Good to see you smiling. :-)
