We had good Cuban sandwiches from Sandy's Cafe. I liked them a lot, I may rank them the best so far. We then went to El Siboney for Cuban dinner. Danny's Cuban so I figured he could help us pick out the good stuff, but it's really like taking an American to Ruby Tuesday's. While it wasn't much of a treat for him, it was a big treat for us.
Then we walked down Duval Street at night. It was a beautiful night, not hot! Always a bonus.
Today I went parasailing, which I've never done before. Mom didn't go, but she did make us call her as soon as we landed.
Here's Danny and I on the boat out:
Here's the view from up above. It's amazing up there. I was much better with the parasailing then riding in the boat. It was very cool. There are two cruise ships in today; they are bigger than the buildings on the island.
This is the view of Danny at 300 feet in the air:
After parasailing, there was a dip in the pool and lunch in town at a seafood restaurant and a nap. It's not Key West if you don't nap at some point. I'm sure Danny wanted to do more, but it's a much slower pace here in the Keys. We had already done too much!
It was sad to see him leave, but he made sure we got goodbye photographs:
I believe he and Mom are BFFs. Soon he'll be texting her to tell her he made it home safely.
