Grass Street

This block took me by surprise when I first encountered it. You will look at it and think, what's so different? And that's my point. It doesn't look different from the rest of the America, it looks different for the Keys! There's hardly any grass much less a whole lawn down here. And there is most definitely not a large front lawn. Property is at such a premium, homes are built very close to the street usually with foliage or walls or fences surrounding them. Take out the palm trees and put in a few oaks and maples and this could be a street in my neighborhood.
