I tried something a little different this time. I biked to Ernest Hemingway's house. It's all behind a big wall, so there's not much to see unless you pay to go in. I'll save that for another day.
But I did see the lighthouse which is no where near water. Key West is a funny place. They like to pick up buildings and move them.
EDIT: Actually I just read that they didn't move the lighthouse. When the old one was crumpled in a hurricane, they decided to build the new one 1/2 mile inland. Since then the island has built up around it so it seems to be much farther from water.
