Other Photographers

There were other photographers on the trip. Since it's my blog, I asked them to send me pictures of me. Vain, I know, but this way you get to see what I looked like on this trip. Hard to believe it was three weeks ago. It seems like much longer.

Bahia Honda

My favorite place on earth. Sadly, I forgot to put the snorkel gear in the car but we were able to see fish without it. It would have been a perfect place to snorkel, the water was crystal clear and still as can be.

It seemed like thousands of fish would just swim right by us in the shallow part of the ocean. We didn't have to go very far out to see all the fish. As I said before, Jordan saw a string ray swim by, but he couldn't get a picture because we had the camera in the kayak.

Fort Zach

We went to Fort Zach to snorkel, but the water was still rough from the storm, so we just swam out to the rocks and took some pictures.

Fort Zach is different because there is a line of pine trees that are behind the beach so you don't have to be sitting out in the sun the entire time you are there. The beach is very rocky or shelly, and water shoes are definitely needed.

Learning to Snorkel

I've probably lost all my readers, but for posterity, I thought I would post some photos from the underwater camera.

We had to practice snorkeling in the pool. And also practicing taking pictures of fish. So while one of us snorkeled, the other one had to be the fish. (That should explain my facial expression in some of the photos).
