Morning Bike Ride: Wednesday

Today I went to the gulf side of the island. From there you can see Sunset Key which is only accessible by boat:

Also, you can see cruise ships when they are in port. I've never seen one in person. Those things are huge!! Almost in a scary way.

Ocean City is 1326 miles from Key West. That seems a bit far. Notice the trike in the left hand side. Cool, no? A jogger actually complimented my bike this morning.

I met a man named Melvin who was going swimming on a tiny little beach between the Hyatt and Pier House. It's the best swimming he said. He swims there every day. He had a sad story to tell about DC and I listened and thought that perhaps paradise isn't all it's cracked up to be. Melvin told me I was beautiful as we parted ways, so I only have nice things to say about Melvin.
