Key West Garden Club: West Martello Tower

I think I found my new favorite place on the island. It's the West Martello Tower run by the Key West Garden Club. It's on the beach and so amazing. I asked if I could come back with my tripod to get even better shots and they said sure, so I'll have more pictures.

Here's the entrance:



It's one of the few brick structures on the island. And all the plants are just gorgeous. I found frangipani:

    So I was looking at your frangipani photo and I thought, those really look like plumeria which are all over Hawaii. So I've just found that frangipani and plumeria are the same. This is one of the traditional flowers that they use in Hawaii for making leis. And they are very fragrant.
