1st Day Observations

Before most of you got in to work, I walked to the beach and took a swim in the pool. These pictures are taken from the pool. One is looking over to the house and the other is looking to the neighbor's house. I took it with my underwater housing. I have other fun shots, but I thought you might like to see a bit of the house first before I get all arty with my shots.

Here are my morning observations:
1. All trucks that go through Key West must travel down White Street.
2. Single pane milk glass, while historically accurate and beautiful, is not sound proof.
3. The homeless in Key West ride bikes and have back packs, as opposed to DC homeless, who push shopping carts and have trash bags. (One nice man told me the devil is going to shatter my camera lens, and I should avoid looking directly in the devil's eyes - which has always been a mandate of mine, but I still thanked him for the early morning reminder.)
4. I knew it was time to get up by the sound of roosters on every street corner. Fascinating.

So far I plan on never leaving. So if you want to see me again, you'll have to do it in the Keys.
