It's hot in DC, about 97 degrees. And the donuts are hot at Krispy Kreme. I'm preparing for our 6:30 am departure tomorrow morning. And if you haven't been following the weather situation in Florida, potential Tropical Storm Debby is brewing. I don't know what it is about my family, but we can't seem to escape hurricanes. Last year we left Nags Head early because of Hurricane Irene. This year we are flying right into Debby as it forms. And I made a point NOT to travel in August this year. I know June is hurricane season, but it's so rare to get a hurricane in June that I thought we were safe.
I think this is a sign from above that I should be a storm chaser.
